Truth, Then Freedom

During the Covid lockdowns, when dissenting voices were censored, banned, and cancelled, I began to promote the idea that we should not pray that one person or another, one opinion or another should be elevated above the others.  Especially to the elimination of the others.

Instead, I began to encourage my readers that we should pray simply that “truth will be revealed.”  No matter who it exposes or who it hurts.  No matter who it confirms or who it dismisses.

Only by knowing the truth will we be able to correct error and escape tyranny.  The Bible tells us that truth will set us free.

When President Trump 45 lost his re-election bid (how that happened is another discussion), many people thought that we would never be able to recover our freedoms and our society may have reached the brink of collapse.

I was one of those.

However, as the months and years slowly ticked by, I began to realize that my plan for some official’s conscience getting the better of them and their standing up before the press and admitting all the wrongdoings of the government and all the evildoers immediately going to prison, was perhaps a bit unrealistic.

I see now that God had a much better plan.

Instead, He allowed the criminals to take control of the prison.  Then, over the years, their evil intentions, their callous disregard, their bloated egos, their deceptive ways began to slowly come to light.

In their hubris, they exposed themselves.

As the months dragged on, even those who rarely pay attention began to see what had been boiling beneath the surface for decades.  The lies, the deceptions, the inexplicable lunacy, the disgusting behaviors, all of it came to full display as those “in charge” assumed that only what they wanted mattered and the opinions of the rest of us were less than garbage.

Four years of a President that we all realized was not only a liar and a political buffoon, but also obviously physically and mentally declining at an alarming pace, forced even the casual observer to admit that we had been hoodwinked by the political establishment and the dishonest, even malevolent, mainstream media.  (It’s sometimes difficult to discern if they are truly evil or simply morons.)

The rabid pursuit of insulting and deranged public policies like unrestrained immigration schemes, transgenderism and LGBPTQ+ euphoria, systemic racism and absurd reparations fantasies, promotion of anti-family and anti-childhood legislative assaults, the escalation of unmitigated power of the unelected, unaccountable administrative class (bureaucrats), the weaponization of the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, and the just plain revolting displays of stupidity and arrogance by those we have placed in charge of our lives (politicians), have finally broken the back of the longsuffering citizenry of our nation.

And we did something about it.

When we overwhelmingly voted to return Donald J. Trump to the Presidency, we convincingly shouted that enough is enough.  It is time to return to normalcy, to commonsense.

But your definition of normalcy may not be mine.  What you believe is commonsense may be someone else’s idea of retrogression.

So, what is the answer?  Now that we have regained a modicum of control and a surge of momentum, how do we decide what path to take?

I think we should stay the course of praying that God will continue to reveal truth at every level.  Pray that He will expose the corruption, the sedition, the treason, the filth we know pervades our governments at every level.

Pray that God will reveal the evil intentions of the movers and shakers in every industry, in every segment of society, in every nation of the world.

For only when the people see for themselves the depth of depravity that controls and drives the people who rule over us will we have the determination to rid ourselves of their influence.

As I wrote here just one week before the election (see “Donald Trump is a Bully!”), David’s stone only stunned Goliath.  To ensure total victory, David took Goliath’s own sword and beheaded him.

Trump’s election has stunned the establishment, the Uniparty (which consists of Democrats and RINO and corrupt Republicans), and the globalist elites.  But it has not stopped them.

To do that, we must decapitate the monster.  Its command and control must be disabled, its insidious tentacles severed, its invasive roots completely yanked out.

But we will never have the stomach to do what needs to be done until we are sufficiently sickened and infuriated by the reality of what our federal government has become.

We must see the TRUTH to gain that strength.

So, keep praying, pleading, that God will reveal truth.  Even in the church.  Then pray that He will strengthen and enable those He has chosen to defeat the corruption and the evil.

The reality is that the layers of deception and denial are so deep and so hardened that they can be penetrated ONLY by the power and the grace of Almighty God.

Keep up the good work of the faithful.  Commit this to God and trust Him not only to reveal truth, but to reveal Himself and His grace and mercy to a nation that will grow hungrier for things that are honest and true.
